21 Insomnia Tips To Help You Sleep

Ah, Insomnia, the nemesis of a decent, restful nights sleep. Insomnia is actually a medical issue that if not treated could leave you feeling weak, tired and at risk of death.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep. People with insomnia have one or more of the following symptoms:

  • Difficulty falling asleep
  • Waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep
  • Waking up too early in the morning
  • Feeling tired upon waking

The biggest cause of insomnia is STRESS, so if SHTF I can imagine a lot of us having insomnia. That is bad news because we all will be on edge to begin with but mix that with lack of sleep which means less cognitive decisions and probably badly, not thought out decisions could make people a nervous wreck.

I personally suffer from Insomnia. I have to take sleeping pills to sleep at night. I am not proud that I have to take them but they work. I got to thinking that when SHTF we won’t have pills to help us. So I went on a hunt for Insomnia tips to help us sleep.
