Children go missing each and every day in this nation. Some show up hiding in the closet of their home. Some children never come home.

Train the Kids
The best thing you can do is to make your children aware of abduction. Of course, we like to play pretend with our kids and make up a soft cushy world where there are no monsters. However, there are very real monsters in our world.
Teaching kids to not talk to strangers, to never go with anyone they dont know, to know how to get help and even to know where to strike and adult to hurt them, are all important skills.
Learn to Defend
As a parent, it is your responsibility to protect your kids. That is the reality. Many parents depend on police or other members of society to do this. That is a waste of time.
You need to learn how to defend yourself and the people you love. Invest some money and time in Boxing, Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai. Learn to hurt if you need to.
Take Immediate Action
One of the biggest mistakes that people make when dealing with child abduction is that they wait to long to react. Whether its a matter of calling the police or calling for help in a crowd, do that!
To often parents spend a long time trying to find their child and before they know it the panic passes the time. An hour can go by very fast when you are pumped full of adrenaline and running around yelling. Get help as soon as possible.
There is no greater challenge than this. Be sure you
