The pandemic is a terrifying scenario because once precautions are put in place there is little to be done except hydrate and wait.
The Great Influenza Epidemic of 1919 affected people on both sides of the pond and struck adults ages 20-40 which made it even tougher to avoid.
It was estimated that 15 million people died worldwide from this epidemic.
That number would be a laughing stock today. With our ability to travel around the world in hours, we would infect the entire world with the flu like this. It would be hard to find a continent untouched if we experience another great pandemic.
So, how on earth do you prepare for something like!
You can start building immunity now! There are many things you can do to power up your immune system. Eat things like garlic, ginger, and turmeric. You can also start dosing and storing 1000mg of vitamin C per day. This is a huge addition.
Start by using the crystalized version of vitamin C
Plan for hydration. Store up for hydration. You are going to need lots of water and probably some powders designed for hydration. These electrolyte powders will go a long way when it comes to hydrating a person who is suffering from vomiting and diarrhea.
In the very worst case scenario, you might have to take a loved one and put them in a room to get better. You put them in that room to assure the virus does not spread. You could save everyone’s life in your family by quarantining someone so dont be opposed to this.
Prepare by having the things you need to deal with infected waste, close contact with a person who is infected, i.e. masks, gloves, eye protection.
There are a lot of steps to getting pandemic prepared. Be sure you are ready with these bare essentials.
