We all spend a lot of time pondering disaster. That might be the effects of the next hurricane or the effects of a nationwide grid down scenario.
We have to consider all of these and it’s important to do so. However, when you spend all your time thinking about the worst case scenario, it can begin to warp you.
You need an ejector seat. You need the means to get away from the news and the youtube videos. This is essential not just to regular people but to preppers as well. We all need a break. Deep down we all know there is something wrong and we know we are not as prepared as we should be. Still, sometimes we need a break.
The best way to deal with this is to shut it all down, man! Get away from the phone, get away from the books, radio, television. I prefer going to to the mountains to clear my find this way. You can also hit the local pond! Just cut the cord between you and the doom news.

One of the best ways to get away from the Mind of Doom is to focus on other things. You need to really focus though. One of the best ways to create that environment of focus is to do something like archery. Archery has a tremendous ability to pull you from your current situation and transport you to a serious mental focus situation.
