What is very dangerous about being a prepper is if you forget about mankind as a great innovator.
We are always learning, always expanding and always getting better. There is no way around that.
Though there may not be enough resources and manpower to help each neighborhood with their issues there are brilliant minds at work creating tech that will level the playing field.
The far-reaching tech that connects the world is getting better. The tentacles of intel are growing and its hard for anyone to maintain privacy. This has good and bad properties. Perhaps the best is the fact that hardly anything is secret anymore.
Advanced alert systems are taking advantage of this and they are doing incredible things to alert the public to issues in our nation and abroad. Threats are easier to identify and that information is easier to get to the general public through cellphone.
These systems are constantly approving.
Navigation is getting increasingly more effective with GPS technology. The future of finding survivors and the resources in a disaster is going to get better and better as our technology in GSP and Satellite location gets more efficient.
This will also increase our ability to find people who get lost in the woods.
Because of our ability to connect through the internet we are also getting better at grouping up in reality. Our ability to network. These networks are starting to create groups and non profits that are stepping in where the National Government falls short in disaster recovery.
This could be the only help in an SHTF situation.
These people and groups are going to use technology to bring help to places all over the nation who are affected. These networks will require things like donations and hands to be successful.
