2017 was the year of the natural disaster. It was Mother natures wrath. We saw some awful things happen to people from hurricanes to tornadoes. Well, 2018 hasn’t panned out much better and it would seem that the growth of prepping, both foreign and domestic is inevitable in 2019.
How many more natural disasters and human made wars does the world have to witness before every person, with the ability, starts storing water, food, power and first aid supplies? It just seems impossible to imagine a world where those living in it can be so naïve. Still, we see it all the time.
In Europe we have watched two very interesting situations occur in the most recent months. No matter where you fall or what you agree with in regard to this round of civil unrest, everyone can see the prepping merit.
Following the threat of raising taxes on diesel fuel the French people rioted in Paris for 5 weeks straight. These were not quiet protests but violent ones that damaged property and had to be dispersed by police. There were hundreds of people hurt and many locked up during the protests.
The overwhelming conditions and issues that the people of Paris have faced over the last few years were also fuel for the fire of these protests.
In a similar turn of events we are seeing the emergence of violent Muslim gangs in Germany. While the nation brought in massive amounts of refugees the settlement has been less than a success and the German people are feeling the burn. Rape, violence and murder are taking center stage as young men of military age are struggling to find work in a country they don’t understand.
They are turning to gangs of their own nationality
We are going to see an uptick in European preppers, without a doubt.
