If you are really going to take your preparedness serious planning is one of the levels you must traverse. There is no substitute for sitting down and truly planning out your emergency action plan

This is a necessary part of any company. They write and present their preparedness plans and how they will react to emergencies. Whether you know it or not OSHA will have their heads if they do not create an emergency

By creating written plans you are going to offer your family something to lean on in the worst of times. In the very worst of times, you might not be there! I know, that seems near impossible but it happens in disasters all the time. People die!

Get some plans written.

Evacuation Plan

Have several means to evacuate to the North, South, East, and West. To create this plan be sure that you have already identified family or hotels that will have you. Be sure you have the cash to support this effort and most importantly, collect all of your documentation and keep it in one place.

Anything of value should be in one place and ready to go in a moment’s notice.

Fire Drill

Something as simple as a fire drill needs to be practiced. It vital that you know how to get out of the home and take the people and things you love most. You need many ways to get out of your home.

Nuclear Emergency

A nuclear emergency is something that we all could face at some point. The chances are much higher if you live near a power plant.

This is not something you can fly by the seat of your pants on. You have to be prepared and know how to react.
