I would love to read more articles just like these. When you look at a collapse situation as a first person shooter video game its easy to say forget about the neighbors. In reality you are going to want to have as many prepared people as possible. That is the reality of this whole thing. Unless you are buried under the disaster in a survival bunker you will need families to come together and work towards survival.
It is my opinion and the authors that the community is everything in survival. The more we can do to gather and build a self reliant mindset in our communities the better off we will all be. There is no room for isolation in the event of a global cataclysm.
