We haven't quite figured out how to shut them down after disaster, we don't really know what to do with the waste but we do know how to charge for the power they create! This article is a bit terrifying because we find out that this massive hurricane is bearing down on several of those nuclear powerplants. Some of them are shutting down and that could be a big deal for the people who depend on them for power. God save the people of the Carolinas, they are in for some serious stuff.
