Water is everything in survival. Be sure that you have all the parts and pieces to maximize your water storage.
You should take a multi-tiered approach that will give you all of the options and take advantage of all the sources. As of today, clean water is everywhere. Take advantage!
There are very few resources that actually fall out of the sky. You will never see knives raining down from the heavens, well, let’s hope not. Still, we need to understand the value of water and how it will literally fall out of the clouds every couple weeks. To not take advantage of that source of water is a big mistake.
Water storage is a great method for having water in a disaster. While many people might think that buying canned water or bottled water is the best method. Invest in quality water containers and use the water that comes out of your tap.
You will likely treat all the water you drink in a collapse anyway so treating that water again will not be a problem. Just be sure that you clean your containers between uses.
Do you have a water source in your immediate area? Well, you should get to know the answer to that question. Having a small creek could make a big difference. Just be sure you have quality filters if you are in an urban area. These creeks will suffer from tremendous runoff.
Having a reliable water filter does not necessarily mean you need to buy one. You could use a biofilter but you need a method that is going to be there when you need it most. What is the best water purification method? Well, I think the best one is the one your the best at!
