I think this is my next project. I have seen other tutorials on how to print pictures and writing onto wood but this article beats them all hands down.

The article shows you exactly how to put your pictures onto any piece of wood you want. I personally would probably take apart one of my many pallets and use the nice golden boards. Obviously you would need to use HT (heat treated) pallets as  the other kinds of pallets you can get are treated with nasty chemicals.

You don’t need many items to do this project. All you need is a roll of was paper and a printer and ink. Oh, and an old credit card 🙂 This project would be great to use in the garden. For example, I would print off what types of vegetables I have and place them next to them. I am not 100% sure if the ink would be water proof, to be safe, especially for outdoor use I would spray a layer of lacquer on the wood to keep the ink protected and water proof.

Alternatively this project would look great in any home, if you have kids you could make them a name plaque for their rooms or a nice wall piece for your living room. Either way this is cheap and will make your house look awesome. Check out the tutorial in the link below 🙂
