I am going to do a series on “The Raccoon Guide To Resources” I found this very interesting. Being a prepper or homesteader we all try and repurpose things, this saves money and makes something a multi-use item, which gives it value.

Over at prepperlink.com they cover wood and plastic and how you can repurpose it to aid you in your garden. If you are really clever and do not have much of wood and plastic you can always search Craigslist or ask local businesses, I am sure they would rather give it to you than pay for someone to take them away.
