How To Survive In A Car When It’s Freezing Cold
Most of us love to stay inside our warm and cozy homes when it’s freezing cold outside. But some of us need to leave the comfort of our homes to get to our work or to attend some event etc. In cold weather, things can go south in seconds, if you are traveling and are not careful.
Before your leave for somewhere, you should inform your neighbors or your friends about where you are headed to, when you will be back and which road you are going to take. In case you get stuck in an emergency situation, the search parties would know where to look for you.
You should dress properly to keep your body warm. Always dress in layers. This will keep you warm and prevent sweating too. You should try to avoid hypothermia and frost bites. Even lighting a candle inside a car will keep you a little bit warm.
You should always keep some food items with you before leaving. Eating will keep your metabolism going and your body will keep producing heat. You should take a container with you, in which you could melt the snow, in case you are short on water.
