How to Survive a Stock Market Crash from All Time Highs
The stock market is at all time highs. Usually when it crashes, it’s from the highest heights. Black Tuesday (1929), Black Monday (1987), the dot-com bubble (2000), the Credit Crisis and Great Recession (2008) all came from market highs… and it’s been a bull market for the last 7 years. Doomsdayers have been warning of an impending collapse for quite some time.
I’m no financial expert, but these seem to be a very bad signs. When markets are at all time highs and no one in the media is talking about it, that means it’s time to sit up, pay attention, and be prepared to take immediate action.
This could just be a tremor before the Big One hits. The economic gurus at the Fed could find another way to kick the can a little bit further down the road, giving you more time to get your personal financial situation under control. Obviously, things can’t stay like this forever, and you can consider this a warning bell.
This could be “it”. If there are no creative, fake-money-from-thin-air remedies left, the market will start to fall. If the market starts to drop, it’s game on.
Take these immediate steps if the market starts to crash.
