We must remain ever vigilant in this society. Though we go spans of time without attacks or terror-related threats it doesn’t mean that that lion has been finally silenced. When America is quiet I am always wondering, “What is being schemed up.”
As everything else evolves so too will the abilities and the tactics of our enemy.
It was nearly 3 years ago we were faced with a near dirty bomb attack from ISIS. This was that long ago. Times are changing and the access to weapons is changing, as well. While it seems like ISIS is quiet, will they come back? They always come back just with a different garb and leader.
Preparing for Terror
What you carry on your person and where you go on a daily basis will certainly affect the probability of being affected by a terrorist attack. If you are traveling and working in a big city you must understand that you are a target for terror.
Might it be time to change where you work and live to get out of harm’s way? It seems quiet on the home front and that is most often when the worst attacks come.
No matter where you are you must remain vigilant.
Preparing for the Aftermath
The aftermath of a serious terror attack could be as devastating as the attack itself. In most cases, you are going to need to prepare to stay indoors and bug in with your family?
Do you have a plan for these things? Could you stay in your home for a few weeks without having to work or leave for food and supplies? This is what a bug in is all about. You need to be able to stay in your home when the time comes.
You might also need to protect your home, as well.
