Perhaps one of the reasons that we love survival so much is because its straightforward. In a world of wish wash, its easy to get wrapped up in things that seemingly cannot be judged. With the outcry from those who have been hurt by competition or judgement, life gets real fuzzy.
When it comes to survival you make it or you don’t. Either you can start a fire or you cannot. There is no one in the world who walks up on a pile of wet sticks and calls it a fire. No, there are distinctions and facts about survival that make it all worthwhile.
When you discuss all the elements of survival you quickly realize that it all comes down to fact. There is no in between. Whether we are talking about cold exposure or food and water. If things don’t go correctly its game over and you cannot argue that fact.
Its this brutal honesty andfact-basedd language and community that makes the prepping and survival community so strong. When things like this are built on fact its very hard to rattle them let alone tumble them.
As a prepper or a survivalist, its your duty to seek out those who would wish to present false ideas to the public and try to set those words right, be they written or spoken. This powerful notion is one that we all need to undertake more often.
You see, when you stand for the truth you can help people. That’s the only way you can help people. Use the facts, derive the truth and share it with those who want to be prepared for disaster.
The survival facts we need are right under our noses. We just need to convey them to the unprepared. If we can change the minds of 10%, imagine the effect it could have.
