There may be as many survival myths out there as there are survival facts. In its purest form, survival is really only about a few things. That can get mixed up with all the daily content and the desire to produce more and more information on the subject.

In this article, we are going to explore three survival and prepping myths that lots of people mention but hardly explore.

This was the old standard for preppers back in the day. We can look at all of the most recent disasters that have caused countless billions of dollars in damage.  It’s so rare that people scatter and start plotting against one another. Yes, food is scarce, water and food, too. Still, communities come together and help one another.

While it will certainly help to have a gun that can protect you, you need to also settle up channels for communication and misunderstanding that don’t involve people dying. This is a very important part of civil society surviving.

No Point in Living Through SHTF

Many people believe there is no point in living through an SHTF scenario because of the bleak outlook. You see, most people think that the struggle to survive is just too much to deal with. Humans have such a strong will to live that we basically took over the whole world.
