With the summer upon us, it’s very important that we give the heat its due. Whether you seek refuge in a home that is well equipped with air conditioning or if you enjoy the heat you must understand.

Of course, along with your sweat, you lose salt and electrolytes. These things need to be replaced.

Dealing with the Heat

Insulated water bottles are one of the great advances in carrying water. You have the ability to not only carry water with you on a daily basis but you can have iced water.

The shade is another big deal when it comes to cooling down. You should seek shade or maybe even have a means of creating shade like a tarp that can block out the sun. 

A rag is another great tool. You could use a shemagh. This can be soaked in a cool creek or with your ice water and placed around your neck. The cold water on your corroded artery will help bring your temperature down.
