You’re Not Really a Prepper Unless You Practice

You’re Not Really a Prepper Unless You Practice - People who buy a bucket of food and plan on grabbing it as they run out the door, thinking this makes them prepared, will face some very harsh realities when it comes to actually practicing the use and process of doing something as simple as boiling water to be poured in the food pouch.

There are a lot of people out there who have seen the need to prep, maybe do a little research on some more questionable sites, end up buying a bunch of stuff, storing it and then consider themselves ‘prepped.’ Granted, they are better off than most of the masses will be if the SHTF but in some ways, they are almost worse off that those who haven’t ‘woken up’ yet. Guess what, you’re not prepped.

People who buy a bucket of food and plan on grabbing it as they run out the door, thinking this makes them prepared, will face some very harsh realities when it comes to actually practicing the use and process of doing something as simple as boiling water to be poured in the food pouch. Did they think about what they would boil in, let alone how they would ensure they had clean and safe water to use?

Let’s say they did but since they never once did a trial run, they realize the pouches of food they bought can’t be cooked in and you need a pot with a lid to be able to eat. If you don’t practice with your gear and learn to hone your skills on simple, yet ironically complicated, skills like lighting and keeping a fire going, you’re a wannabe. You are not prepared, not really. Do some more research, starting with the article below and ask yourself if you really know what to do with what you bought.
