DIY Super Easy De-Icer

DIY Super Easy De-Icer
DIY Super Easy De-Icer

The past few nights in Nebraska, we have been waking up to temperatures near zero…if we are lucky. Sometimes, such as this morning, the temperature was below zero. It’s been one of those seasons where you just really don’t want to get out of bed, get dressed, or walk outside. The dogs don’t even want to go out!

Needless to say, with all this freezing, we have ice on our windshield just about every morning. I’m not gonna lie; it sucks. So I decided to tackle this problem. (We’re not going to mention the part about how we need a solution because our ice scraper is currently MIA.) After a little research, we came up with the perfect recipe! See for yourself and let us know how you like it!

What you need:

1/2 cup Water
1 cup 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
Spray Bottle

Combine the water and the alcohol in your spray bottle. Mix it up a little by sealing the top of your bottle and inverting it a few times. Bam! Your deicer has been made!

I really hope this awesome recipe helps you keep your windshields as freeze free as mine! I absolutely love this stuff! Have a great winter!
