It sounds like a bad movie from the 50s. I can picture horrible visual effects and a drive-in movie theater. Unfortunately, we are just not that lucky.

We already know that the sun can have a profound effect on our way of life. It is what gives us light and heat. We also know that it can spit serious energy at our planet.

Recently scientists have been observing the coming solar minimum or the time when the sun slows down a bit. There are so many sunspots on the face of the sun that they think the whole planet could be headed for a time of cooling. Serious cooling. How’s that for out of left field.?
Recently there have also been reports about the planet’s sun be awash in a dark matter hurricane. Check it out because it’s real. Scientists say it’s nothing to worry about but I don’t think anyone understands this enough to really know what they are talking about.
It’s just important to understand you are vulnerable. It’s important to consider, even when things are going well down here, there is a whole universe above you and you have no control and no idea what it’s going to do next.
As if you needed more of a reason to prepare for a disaster! Well, just remain vigilant and keep driving forward. That is the best any of us can do.
