Growing Some Hygiene
You can also grow things like loofa and licorice to help you with personal hygiene. Licorice is a great medicinal but its also a tremendous substitute for a toothbrush. The fibrous root is perfect to chew down into something like a toothbrush.

Access to clean water for washing is just as important as drinking. This is why you should plan on storing 3 gallons per person per day. The old line was 1 gallon per person. That’s better than nothing but to optimize you should look for 3 per.
