These are questions that you better answer now and not be put on the spot in the future. Are you prepared and are you willing to help your neighbors? The choice is yours but you must be prepared to answer it. All of this is very important and it is crucial to your prepping plan.
You must be honest with yourself about how prepared you are. If you bring people in and help neighbors when you are unprepared you will be creating an even bigger problem.
So, how do we help our neighbors get prepared?
Talk About Disasters
Dont beat around the bush when it comes to disasters. Be prepared for what is coming and talk about it with your neighbors. Hurricane season is a great example of this. Talk about the aftermath. Its a big part of getting people in your community to start thinking.
Just open up the communication lines. Its not that hard to do because people get worried when disasters abound.
Be the Living Example
Another great way to convey the importance of prepping is to be a living example. You don’t have to tell everyone about everything you do but you can certainly explain why you prepare for things like hurricanes, fires and floods and what you do to prepare for them.
Direct Them to Resources
When your neighbor shows interest it’s important that you have something to direct them towards. This might be a website, a podcast or something else prepper related. Maybe even a hard copy catalog. Be the person with the answers.
Livehonestlyt and show the people around you that its ok to be prepared and it’s ok to live prepared.
