DIY Rabbit Hutch From Wooden Pallets

If you want to build an attractive, yet affordable, Rabbit Hutch then pallets are the way to go. They are generally strong, hard wood and best of all free (ask a local business if you take theirs off their hands) or at the most a few dollars per pallet. I have for many years used free pallets to make various projects around the homestead, this project is no exception.

Remember when sourcing out pallets, always get the heat treated ones. They will be stamped “HT” or “heat treated” if you don’t see the stamp chances are they are chemically treated, you do not want those pallets. They contain nasty chemicals that could harm your rabbits.
