You can do anything too much. The very best way to live life is to do all things in moderation, except love. Give as much of that as you can.
Everything else should be done in moderation. Of course, we tend to fall short of this and go overboard with some things. Some get crazy with things like alcohol or gambling. It’s just as easy to get crazy over prepping.
You can go overboard in a number of ways when it comes to prepping. Let’s look at some warning signs that you are going overboard when it comes to prepping. This can be a serious matter and we have to be prepared to recognize and deal with it.
One of the best ways to tell if you are going overboard with prepping is to look at your bank statements. Are you running up debt buying preps? Are you not paying your bills because you are buying guns and ammo? Well, that means you prepping is out of control.
Have you begun to retreat from society? Are you concerned about leaving your home because of risk. Perhaps you are not even talking to people at work or family as much anymore. This isolation can happen when find yourself spending all your time thinking about a disaster.
You need to find some balance.
A very real issue that can set in early is anxiety. When you read about disaster, SHTF or wrol, you get a little adrenaline burst. It feels good, however, this can lead to anxiety.
Serious anxiety will affect your overall mental health. It doesn’t take a lot and some people are more affected than others.
Prepping is a necessary part of life, now. There are no other solutions. The world is changing the people on it are killing one another and you need an answer. Preparedness will keep you and your family safe.
