Training is all. There is no way that training can stop. When you are talking about SHTF you aren’t talking about a short mission. You are talking about the long haul.
In the early stages, your skills will be strong but what happens if 2 years down the line you have done nothing to hone your skills, nothing to keep your strength. What will you look like? You will be a completely different survivor. There is no getting around that.
Remember that planning doesn’t end when the disaster strikes it must carry you through to whatever form of recovery occurs.
There are many reasons that preppers stockpile. They stockpile for disasters and the end of all things. However, one of the best reasons to stockpile is for training.
Having extra ammo and first aid are great things to have on hand for training. Without extra, you cannot afford to train things like firing guns and practicing first aid.
Hard Copy Guides
Be sure that you have printed resources and books on the topics of preparedness and self-sufficiency. These resources will be there when the electricity is not or after something like an EMP attack. Hard copy information has been passed down for generations.
You can build training off of these materials also!
Some people who have spent decades doing a thing. They have a career in subjects that really matter in SHTF You want these people to train others, as well.
Some great experts to have on hand are those who know about medical, tactical, communications, firearms, cooking and navigation. Engineers and construction are great fields to pull experts from, too!
The training must go on no matter the situation. Be sure you are prepared.
