Could you ever have imagined a time when we would be concerning ourselves with the threat of vehicular terrorist attacks?

The fact is our nation and western nations around the world have been so inundated with people who hate the beauty of western society that terrorism happens at any time, anyplace and by any means these days. Its a sobering fact of reality.
We need help and training to live a safer existence in n world where we are importing killers from foreign lands. Once things like this get into a society, they are very hard to get out. Let’s look at 2 ways we can prepare for vehicular terrorism.
We hear the word a lot in this community. Be aware!
This is a practice. It’s not an on-off switch. While it is often presented as something you just need to turn on, awareness takes time to develop. In business or in sports awareness is very valuable and only comes with experience. Unless you are dealing with a rare minority of the greats.
Begin your path towards situational awareness. Stop with the phone. Put it in your pocket during your time in the real world. Leave it there. Your ability to be aware of threats goes down by 20 pts if you are looking at a phone.
What can you put between yourself and an oncoming vehicle to protect yourself? This is the use of barricades.
When you are out and about you have the ability to look over the landscape for things like large trees, pylons, and other cars that can slow or stop a moving vehicle. These things might be your only hope in a situation like this.
This stuff isn’t going away so be very aware. Do everything you can to face down and crush the terrorist threat. We cannot run scared.
