Best Bug Out Bag Flashlight For The Value
A flashlight is one of the most important items you can have on you in an emergency or just to find your way around after dark. Finding a good flashlight that isn’t expensive is pretty difficult sometimes though. Well I’ve found one for you.
To be a great bug out bag flashlight, you need a few key elements.
- Takes the correct batteries
Tough. This flashlight is made out of a tough aluminum alloy. I wouldn’t doubt at all if you could drive it over with a big Army truck and it would just yawn back at you. You know when you pick up something really cheap and you can tell it’s cheap? Yeah, that’s not this flashlight. It’s like the mini mack truck of flashlights.
Bright. I have one of these and I was playing around with it outside the other night and was shining it onto the walls of my neighbors’ houses. It has a focus lens that makes it so you can either light up a whole side of a house or you can focus it to a square. It’s so bright that you can actually see the shape of the super-bright LED board that throws out the light. It’s actually so bright that it’s pretty fun to show the thing off. I accidentally shined it up across a jet airliner way up in the sky and thought the police were going to come arrest me.
Takes the correct batteries. Obviously, you need a flashlight to take batteries that you have around. For my preferred choice of battery for prepping, it’s the AA battery. Not only are they small and cheap, you can find them in pretty much every remote control in any house in the country. AA batteries are everywhere. By switching all your electronics to have one battery, you don’t have to lug around a box full of them. Also, it’s super easy to pick up a small solar panel and AA battery charger setup so you’ll always have light.
Affordable. Now that’s where this little flashlight really shines. Get it? Shines? Never mind. Seriously. Your days of wondering what to get your prepper friends and family are over. Even the ones that you haven’t converted yet will appreciate this thing. It’s the perfect birthday gift, stocking stuffer, or just to keep in each vehicle and purse. Did I mention this little flashlight is less than $7?!
Well, I’m not going to tease you about this light anymore. If you want to see a review of this light with some photos of just how bright it is compared to some lights that are much more expensive, head over to Graywolf Survival to read his article, appropriately titled:
