Moisture can destroy any supplies you have stockpiled. Food is the biggest one but did you know that medkits get ruined all the time when stored too?

I have had this topic on my mind for a few weeks now and I went hunting for some great info for us all to read. I think I found a great article on 5 proven ways to protect your supplies from moisture.

Most of us just think about food but our other supplies are just as vulnerable. Plastic can get eaten by pests and actually rats like chewing on the stuff. (not saying you have rats, but it is possible, especially in a SHTF situation)

I think the next biggest one is metal. It can rust and corrode in a matter of weeks if not looked after. I would hate to have a knife that went rusty or my washers or motors seized up on my important generators, etc.
